Established in 1973 by Steve Bennett, Living Image, inc. is one of the finest and oldest photography studios in North Florida. Along with his wife Nancy, Steve has brought the studio from a small concern in Arlington to the 4,000 square foot facility on Sunbeam Road they now call home. From the comfortable, homey atmosphere in the reception area to the garage door to allow the entrance of cars into the studio, Steve and Nancy have created each facet of the studio to function beautifully to accommodate all their clients’ needs.

Living Image wouldn’t have had the staying power over the years if the Bennetts didn’t realize that maintaining a successful business requires caring for the community that supports them. In keeping with this philosophy they have involved themselves with many of the local charity organizations around Jacksonville. Most recently they have begun to involve themselves doing family portraits for military families with a member being deployed. Through liaisons at the USO they bring in entire families, have the photo session and provide them with a complete photo package free of charge. Right now they only have the resources to photograph just a dozen families a month but they are currently working to increase that number to 25 by the end of the year.

Steve and Nancy have two children, a married daughter living in Alabama and a son in middle school. They are committed to help Jacksonville continue to be a great place to live and raise kids and plan on working toward that goal for years to come.
